Did I do That? What is the West Thinking?
I’ve been following the situation with Ukraine since the start. It’s funny that the U.S. and the E.U. thought that Ukraine would just roll over after the U.S. pumped 5 billion dollars into the country to sway their leadership. Once the West backed Coup overthrew the Ukrainian democratic government. Did they actually think that the rest of Ukraine wouldn’t react? So let’s examine what has really happened so far. Russia as a country has become bigger and stronger (Crimea). Sanctions have been applied to Rich Russians, so they cannot go to Europe or the U.S. to spend tons of money thru property, shopping and tourism. These people also saw the sanctions coming, so they sold whatever stock, bonds and etc… before it happened. Yes, a bank was added to this sanction list, but this was great marketing for this bank, because Russians are now investing more into their own banks and not with banks from the West. The U.S. is pushing Europe to cut ties with Russia as far as energy without any solution at this exact moment. Germany gets 1/3 of their gas from Russia. Are the German people willing to cutoff Russia to see their bills rise? The UK is just finishing a pipeline that would start pushing Russia gas their way very soon. Is The UK going to turn there backs on this new pipeline? Ukraine is 2 billion plus in debt to a Russian gas company, and the Russian gas company is thinking about cutting them off soon. Ukraine was already getting a discount from the Russian gas company which is set to disappear soon. I wonder why?
Europe, NATO, and U.S. are separating themselves from Russia, but the backlash is that Russia is now aligning its resources with China. Is the West really serious? Would they prefer to see Russia standing with China than themselves? I thought you keep your friends close, and your enemies CLOSER! China will have the Worlds biggest economy within 4 years. Is it really smart for the West to align their biggest enemies together? #TheSagaContinues
